Mary Dudley
Prints, Monotypes, Painting and Collage
Mary Dudley has lived in California. Her paintings and monotypes have been exhibited in galleries in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Tuscon, Arizona, the bay area of California and in the permanent collection of Nordstrom's. Her work has been collected internationally. She now resides in Lynden Washington and Cortes Island, British Columbia. She has a BFA from Hofstra University, New York and attended Parsons School of Design in NYC, as well as Universite du Grenoble, France. She apprenticed with master printmaker Lee Altman at Pacific Art League, Palo Alto, CA. for two years to become a printmaker. She is the owner of Eagle Wind Press based on Cortes Island, where she gives summer workshops on her large etching press and fully equipped printmaking studio.
Artist's Statement
Printmaking, monotypes, works on paper, painting and collage are my art. My art is the core of my lfe; my core of life is my art. It is all one. It is my spirit.
