Our Goals
- To promote the arts, while acting as an advocate for the advancement of the fine arts within our region and individual communities.
- To assist in promoting and maintaining all members to a standard of excellence via a jurying process of an artist's works for membership in this organization.
- Promoting name recognition of the North Sound Artisans by insuring it's name is synonymous with accomplished artists who produce quality art.
- Displaying/exhibiting art work to our communities by providing art show venues twice a year.
- Providing a resource for instruction, lectures and demonstrations in the surrounding communities.
- Furthering and promoting the advancement of member artists through the critiquing of artworks.
- Meetings on a monthly/regular basis to further our goals.
- The sharing of member knowledge and information either personally or by arranging for demonstrations or presentations. These demonstrations are to be held at regular or special meetings on a volunteer basis and all members will be encouraged to participant.
- A dues structure for maintaining a financial base to cover expenses incurred to maintain the shows/exhibits and promotion of same.
- An orderly meeting structure where simple majority rules but all can be heard and every opinion is evaluated fairly on it's merit and benefit to the organization.
- Our long term goals are the establishment of a permanent location, with space to exhibit member work on an on going basis, while providing space for teaching, class instruction and meetings.
